I set up a computer with a touchscreen monitor to be used as a home jukebox for parties. Something similar to what bar jukeboxes are now. I have tried out several different software programs that use my existing music collection, which is good, but Im looking for something that users can easily search for songs that I dont have.
I have tried out Spotify and Google Play Music, which are great for personal use, but I cant trust my guests to add the song to the existing playlist instead of cutting off the song that is currently playing for the one they just selected.
Is there something out there, like a website, an app, or software, that can easily put songs selected (whether from Youtube, Google Play Music, spotify or other) into a playlist instead of immediately playing the song or restricts the ability to immediately play the song. Cost or subscription fees are is not an issue.
Also if there is another sub to ask, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
***edit: My friend found www.airconsole.com which has a jukebox feature where guests go to the website on their phone and enter the code that connects it to the host computer (a code shows the URL and a code on the screen) . From there you can search and add YouTube videos to a playlist. Guests can vote on the videos to bump them up on the playlist too. This is pretty cool and can work on any computer or smartTV (I assume), BUT its not touchscreen based and relies on cellphones to add songs.
